We repair, maintain, and replace gas and propane boilers, including combi boilers that heat both your home and your water.
Signs Your Boiler Needs Service
- No heat in one zone: Usually a zone valve, a circulator pump, or air trapped in the loop.
- Banging, gurgling, or kettling noises: Air in the system or mineral scale on the heat exchanger.
- Pressure too high or too low: A failing expansion tank, fill valve, or a slow leak somewhere in the system.
- Water at the relief valve: The relief valve is doing its job. Something upstream, often the expansion tank, is not.
- Short cycling or lockouts: Common at elevation when combustion and gas pressure were never set for altitude.
Boiler Repair
We find the actual cause before we quote. You get the price upfront, and the trip fee is waived when you approve the repair. Our trucks carry common pumps, valves, and controls, so many boiler repairs finish on the first visit.
Boiler Maintenance
An annual service checks combustion, gas pressure, the expansion tank, the relief valve, pumps, and controls, and flushes scale where it has built up. In the foothills, where boilers run far more hours, it is the best protection against a no-heat call on the coldest night. A Family Plan membership includes a heating tune-up every year.
Boiler Replacement
When a boiler is past repair, we size the new one to your home and your elevation, not to the old unit's label. Many homeowners move to a high-efficiency condensing boiler or a combi boiler that also replaces the water heater. See our Navien and Noritz pages for combi options, and ask about financing.
Boiler or Furnace?
Some homeowners ask about converting a boiler to a furnace to add central air. It is possible, but it means adding ductwork. A ductless system for cooling, with the boiler kept for heat, is often the simpler and more comfortable answer. We will price both honestly.
Where We Service Boilers
Across the Denver metro, including the older homes of Park Hill, Wash Park, and Wheat Ridge, and throughout the foothills from our office in Evergreen, including Conifer and Golden.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you work on propane boilers?
Yes. We service natural gas and propane boilers, which are common in the foothills.
How often should a boiler be serviced?
Once a year, before the heating season. In the mountains, where boilers run more hours, annual service matters even more.
What is a combi boiler?
A combi boiler heats your home and makes hot water on demand from one wall-mounted unit, so you no longer need a separate water heater.
Why does my boiler lose pressure?
Usually a small leak, a failing expansion tank, or a faulty fill valve. We find which one before recommending a repair.
Do you charge a trip fee for boiler repair?
The trip fee is waived when you approve the repair, and you see the price before any work starts.
